Best Performer of the Japanese Work : 300,000
Diploma of Outstanding Merit : 150,000
Chamber Music Award : 150,000
Audience Prize : Certificate of Merit and additional awards

※The First Prizewinner will be given at least 10 opportunities to perform in and outside of Japan, including solo recitals and performances with major orchestras, before the end of March 2023.
The performer will be paid an appearance fee of ¥100,000 per performance, and related travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the Organizer.

※The First Prizewinner will be given the Mayor of Sapporo Award with the opportunity to perform in Sapporo, based on the Hamamatsu-Sapporo “Musical and Cultural City Exchange Declaration”.


Prizewinner's Concert : Winners of the First to Sixth prizes must perform at the Prizewinners’ Concert to be held in the Main Hall of ACT CITY Hamamatsu on November 29, 2021. Performers will not be paid an appearance fee for this concert.


Travel Support:
Each contestant is responsible for his/her own travel expenses. However, the following contestants will receive travel support as outlined below:

  • [Non-Japanese contestants currently residing in Asia] ¥50,000 toward air travel and domestic travel expenses
  • [Non-Japanese contestants currently residing outside Asia] ¥100,000 toward air travel and domestic travel expenses
  • [Japanese contestants currently residing outside Japan] 50% of the above-stated travel support
  • [Contestants currently residing in Japan] Not eligible for travel support


Accommodation Support:
The Organizer will bear the accommodation expenses of the contestant and provide a daily per diem allowance for food, only if the contestant stays in a hotel specified by the Secretariat from the day of contestant registration until the following dates.

  • First Stage contestants – until the morning of November 18, 2021
  • Second Stage contestants – until the morning of November 23, 2021
  • Third Stage contestants – until the morning of November 27, 2021
  • Finalists – until the morning of November 30, 2021
